Like memories of a bygone era, provocative intimate portraits in the Still Life Series display sensuous antiques and floral arrangements reminiscent of still life oil paintings of the past.
Titled according to their dominant color, tonal values in the photographs are soft, deep colors brushed with sparkling natural sunlight or muted warm lamplight. American art pottery and ceramic vases, lamps and African art from the 1940's to 1960's are paired with sumptuous fresh flowers.
